It¡¯s known that Funeral Major in WuhanCivilVocationalCollege plans to recruit 30 students, but there were 100 people applying it. This major breaks through the ¡°non welcome¡± situation finally.
WuhanCivilVocationalCollege is the only one that has funeral major in HunanProvince. In China there are 3 college setting up funeral majors, but over 1,500 funeral homes around the country .
It¡¯s known that graduates in this major could find jobs without much difficulties. Vice-professor Zhong Jiawang, which is famous in funeral field, introduced that as the development of economic, funeral industry¡¯s demands to parishioners will be higher and higher. He also alleged that, this major is much more welcomed than before, and female students take up over half. The requirements of recruiting students is changed compared years ago. In 2004, there were no requirements at all, everyone came could be enrolled, in 2005 there was limitation for marks, till this year, appearance and stature have been put forwarded as entering levels.
